Report for Monday, August 20, 2001

Today was inside day with three separate but coordinated activities going on. The plumbers went to work on the plumbing of the restrooms including breaking out some concrete to make the drains fit into the walls.

The electricians wired most of the outlets in the south portion of the building.

The drywall crew installed the sheet rock on most of the corridor ceilings.

If you want to see much of this work in progress the time to do it is within the next four or five working days. My estimate is that we will see the heating units installed and all the walls finished by about September 4 or 5.

Remember you are invited to stop by any time but the best is late afternoon after the contractors have left.

Tuesday, the water line connections in 3200 West will be made and that will be followed by the sewer line connection so the repaving of the trenches in the street can be done at one time. The water meter box should be in and the piping installed and connected to the building by the end of this week so we will have a valve to connect to for the sprinkler system.

The photos show the drywall on the ceiling and several shots of the plumbing. If you look closely you can also see the wiring that has been completed.
