Adult Studies & Discipleship
There are many ways to grow in faith, ask questions, and connect with others at Mountain Vista UMC. Throughout the year, we offer a variety of opportunities for adults to study Scripture, explore faith, and build relationships with one another.
Adult Sunday School
Our Adult Sunday School class meets Sundays from 10:45–11:30 a.m., at the same time as our children’s Sunday School. These gatherings provide an opportunity for adults to study the Bible together, ask questions, and grow in faith through conversation and discussion.
Book Studies
Throughout the year, members of our congregation lead studies based on books that explore faith, Scripture, and Christian life. While a book study is in session, the group typically meets Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Study topics and books vary throughout the year, so contact the church office for information about the current study.
The Chosen Watch Parties
When a new season of The Chosen is released, members of our congregation may gather to watch episodes together and talk about what we see. These watch parties offer a relaxed way to connect with others while exploring the life and ministry of Jesus through the series.
Contact the church office for information about upcoming watch parties.
Start a Small Group
Discipleship doesn’t have to happen in a classroom. We are always open to helping new small groups form around the interests and needs of our congregation.

Groups can meet at any time and in any location that works for the group. If you have an idea for a new small group—or would simply like to gather with others and don’t know where to begin—we would love to help.
