Music at Mountain Vista
Music is an important part of worship at Mountain Vista United Methodist Church. From contemporary praise music to handbells and individual musical offerings, there are many ways that music helps us worship God and share our gifts with one another.
Praise Band
Our praise band leads contemporary music during worship throughout the year. The band is led by a family in our congregation, and while they traditionally serve every other week, other members of the band have recently stepped in to help lead music on the weeks they are unavailable. Because our musicians have different schedules and commitments, the band coordinates music and rehearsals from week to week based on everyone’s availability.
Bell Choir
Our bell choir gathers for rehearsal on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m., typically from August through May. The choir shares its music with the congregation several times throughout the year, including special worship services such as Easter and Christmas.
The bell choir is a wonderful opportunity to make music together as a group and add something special to our worship celebrations.
Share Your Musical Gifts
