Our quilting group gathers each Wednesday from 1:00–3:00 p.m. to create handmade quilts and blankets for children in need. Whether you are an experienced quilter, enjoy sewing, or simply want to lend a helping hand, everyone is welcome to join this caring community.
The blankets are donated to Project Linus, whose mission is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth, and comfort to children who are seriously ill, have experienced trauma, or are otherwise in need through the gift of new handmade blankets created by volunteer “blanketeers.”
Each stitch is an act of compassion, reminding a child that they are loved and not alone. Through this ministry, we combine fellowship, creativity, and service to share God’s love in a tangible way.
